A gasketed plate heat exchanger (GPHE) is made up of a series of thin, corrugated metal plates arranged in a stack, with flexible gaskets placed between each one. These gaskets create sealed channels that guide hot and cold fluids through alternating passages, allowing for efficient heat exchange. The entire plate assembly is secured between a frame and a pressure plate, held tightly together with bolts. This practical and efficient design makes it easy to clean and modify the unit's capacity by adding or removing plates as needed
